Perfect Vegan Naan

In large bowl mix:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
    • In separate bowl mix:
      • 1 tsp active dry yeast
      • 1 tsp white sugar
      • 3/4 cup warm water

Let the yeast combination sit ten minutes or until frothy, don’t use hot water it can kill yeast. Combine yeast mixture into large bowl with wooden spoon (or any non metal spoon). Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in warm room (I put mine next to the hot crockpot) for 30 minutes to rise.

Roll balls out into circles, on floured surface, if desired add minced garlic into dough. Cook on preheated med/high nonstick pan, let bubble rise and flip (about 10 seconds each side).
